Przeglądając moje stylizacje, łatwo dostrzec, że bardzo chętnie sięgam po rajstopy oraz pończochy. W mojej kolekcji znajduje się mnóstwo modeli, ale dopiero teraz trafiły do niej prawdziwe nylony rodem z dawnych lat! Po angielsku określa się je mianem "Fully Fashioned". Takie pończochy są produkowane ręcznie za pomocą starych, unikatowych maszyn dziewiarskich i różnią się od ich nowoczesnych odpowiedników pod wieloma względami... Przede wszystkim przy ich tworzeniu uwzględnia się kształt ud, łydek oraz stóp - posiadają fason, który idealnie dopasowuje się do nóg. Ich manszeta ma bardzo charakterystyczny wygląd (zwróćcie uwagę na "key hole" - niewielki otwór na górze), a wzdłuż biegnie prawdziwy szew. Oczywiście nie są samonośne, dlatego należy nosić je z pasem. Jedną z ostatnich firm, w której ofercie znajdziemy oryginalne nylony FF jest francuski Cervin. Dziś mam przyjemność zaprezentować Wam cieliste pończochy tej marki, które zestawiłam z czarnym koronkowym body, rozkloszowaną spódniczką oraz czerwonymi butami w stylu retro. Chcąc podzielić się z Wami detalami, na potrzeby sesji musiałam nieco unieść spódniczkę :)

Looking through my outfits, it’s clear to see that I’m eager to reach for tights and stockings at every opportunity. There are a lot of different styles in my collection but only now have I taken receipt of a pair of authentic vintage nylons - otherwise known as ‘fully-fashioned’ nylons. These particular stockings are manufactured using unique old knitting machines and differ from their modern counterparts in several ways... Firstly, when they are created, the shape of the thighs, calves and feet is taken into consideration - as they have a cut that perfectly adapts to the legs. Secondly, the collar of the nylons has a very distinctive appearance (note the ‘keyhole’ loop on the welt), as do the hand-sewn seams. Of course, they should always be worn with a suspender belt. One of the last remaining producers of the original fully-fashioned nylons is highly-respected French company Cervin. And today I have the pleasure of modelling Cervin’s flesh-coloured stockings, which I wore with a black lace bodysuit, a flared miniskirt, and retro-style flat red shoes. And as I was keen to share with you the finer details of such a delightful look, in the interests of the photoshoot I did, of course, have to lift my skirt just a tiny bit :)
